Here is a list of some common website error codes and their meanings:

1. 200 OK: The request was successful, and the server returned the requested content.

2. 301 Moved Permanently: The requested page has been permanently moved to a new location. The browser should redirect to the new URL.

3. 302 Found (or Moved Temporarily): The requested page has been temporarily moved to a different location. The browser should redirect to the new URL.

4. 400 Bad Request: The server cannot understand the client’s request due to malformed syntax or invalid parameters.

5. 401 Unauthorized: The request requires user authentication. The client must provide valid credentials (e.g., username and password) to access the requested resource.

6. 403 Forbidden: The server understands the request, but the client is not authorized to access the requested resource. No authentication will help in this case.

7. 404 Not Found: The server cannot find the requested resource. It is the most common error when a page or resource is not available.

8. 500 Internal Server Error: A generic server error occurred, indicating that something went wrong on the server’s side. It is often a result of misconfigurations or programming errors.

9. 502 Bad Gateway: The server acting as a gateway or proxy received an invalid response from an upstream server while attempting to fulfill the request.

10. 503 Service Unavailable: The server is temporarily unable to handle the request, usually due to maintenance or high traffic. The client should try again later.

11. 504 Gateway Timeout: The server acting as a gateway or proxy did not receive a timely response from an upstream server while attempting to fulfill the request.

12. 505 HTTP Version Not Supported: The server does not support or refuses to support the HTTP protocol version used in the request.

These are just a few examples of common website error codes. It’s important to note that there are many more error codes, each with its specific meaning and context. When encountering an error code, it’s helpful to consult the HTTP specification or seek additional information to understand the specific issue and take appropriate action.
